Charlie Cole’s passion in life is versatility which transends to his music. Charlie’s life as a musician has spanned almost all genres, from classical music to classic rock. Having worked with notable musicians such as Albert Markov, Alexander Markov, and various jazz, pop, rock and country musicians, Charlie’s aim is to share his experience with as many as possible, and show that the violin has a multitude of uses.

Charlie studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under the renowned professor Maciej Rakowski.

Charlie Cole’s career as a violinist and vocalist has taken him all over the world, including performances in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, China, and cruise ships. Charlie has appeared alongside notable musicians and groups spanning many genres, including the touring record label Ministry of Sound, The Rock Orchestra, Cynthia Erivo, and has taken part in Masterclasses in front of legends of the violin including Ivry Gitlis. Charlie’s performing life has included venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace. Television appearances have included the BBC proms, X factor and the Royal Variety Performance.

Charlie has taken part in public

master classes with distinguished musicians such as Yair Kless, Gabor Tackacs-Nagy, Ani Schnarch, Katherine Macintosh and the Gould Piano Trio.

Charlie has worked with numerous distinguished musicians including Tim Garland, Gwilym Simcock, Asaf Sirkis, Bobby Wellins, Don Weller, Christian Garrick, Martin Taylor, Guy Barker, Colin Matthews and Simon Colam.
